Alert Roster and Schedule
Maxwell Composite utilizes an Aircrew Alert Roster for crew recall for actual REDCAP/DR/CD missions.
Alert Scheduling Officer will compile the alert calendar based upon availability responses from individual members. You must have a valid e-mail address in eServices to receive these e-mail calls for availability.
The bottom line objectives follow:
- Very rapid recall of crews in case of an actual mission
- Squadron members will know during a defined period when they are most likely to be recalled for missions, reducing "call-around time" during an actual mission for both IC and Squadron Alerting Officers.
- Crewmembers on alert should have mission essential flight gear assembled and should carry gear in their POV for their alert day(s). Limiting alcohol consumption during alert periods should be considered.
